Minimum System Requirements

-          PC, Laptop, or Apple Macintosh computer with sufficient memory as recommended for its operating system.

-          Operating System – TimeLedger works with any of the following: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows Me, Windows XP, or Windows XP Pro, Mac OS 9.0 or Mac OS X.

-          Internet connection of 28.8k or faster (the faster the better),

-          Internet Browser – (Internet Explorer version 4.0 or higher recommended)

 

 

What browser does Equative recommend to use with TimeLedger?

-          TimeLedger works best with Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 4.0, 5.0, 5.5, and later utilizes all features of TimeLedger.  If you don’t have that browser, click here to download and install it from Microsoft.

 

 

Does anything have to be installed on our users’ PCs to use TimeLedger?

-          No.  As long as your PC is setup to use the Internet with a browser (preferably Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 or greater), you can instantly access timeledger without downloading or installing any components.

 

 

What is included with the TimeLedger service?

-          Your organization receives the following:

o        Use of TimeLedger for all users you’ve added

o        Free updates for all your users

o        Automatic continuous backup of all your data

o        Free TimeLedger Palm version for all your users with all updates

o        Free TimeLedger offline desktop / laptop version (allows users to enter time and expenses when disconnected from the Internet), with all updates.

o        Full technical support during business hours (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Pacific Standard Time (California).

 

 

How many users can we put on TimeLedger?

-          Although there is no limit, our customers generally range from 1 to 500 users per department or organization (you can also get reporting by department).

 

 

What types of industries commonly use TimeLedger?

-          TimeLedger is used by a broad range of industries including:

Can we get reports by group and by a department of multiple groups?

-          Yes.  TimeLedger allows you to quickly setup users in groups, and to setup multiple groups into departments.

 

 

Can our organization use our own vocabulary?

-          Yes.  In the Settings tab, Company Settings link, at the bottom, you can set the unique vocabulary of your organization to just about any word.

 

 

Is our data secure and where is it stored?

-          Your data is stored on highly secure servers in a multi-million dollar facility in Irvine, California.  Access to the system is restricted to only a limited number of employees of Equative who have had background checks and who have been with our company for many years.  The facility has multiple backup systems of Internet connections, power supplies, and generators, with 24-hour onsite monitoring.

 

 

Has Equative ever been subject to any dispute, arbitration, or litigation regarding any loss or breach of data security?

-          No.  Since 1997, when the company was first formed, neither Equative, Inc. nor AttilaWeb.com, Inc. (its predecessor name), have ever been the subject of a single dispute, arbitration, or actual or threatened litigation regarding any loss or breach of data security.

 

 

How can we easily get our data into TimeLedger without having to retype it?

-          You can quickly upload data such as

o        Clients / Customers

o        Jobs / Matters / Tasks

o        Employees

-          By either filling in this Excel spreadsheet [insert link to Excel spreadsheet download], or sending us a file in a format we will provide.

 

 

What methods of payment do you accept?

-          Mastercard, Visa, American Express, corporate or personal check (we can bill you annually or monthly for amounts over $200), Cashier’s check, or personal Check, bank wire transfer (domestic or international).

 

 

Does Equative have references it can provide?

-          Yes.  Equative has references it will provide on request.  Contact sales at (800) 239-2201, or by email at sales@equative.com

 

 

Does TimeLedger work with Pocket PCs?

-          TimeLedger does not currently work on the Pocket PC but will be releasing it’s Pocket PC version (to be included free for each user), by October 31st, 2002.

 

 

 

 

Can we use TimeLedger to collect payroll time?

-          Yes.  Many of our customers use TimeLedger to collect time at work, lunch, sick, vacation, and personal time and feed it to various accounting and payroll packages such as QuickBooks, ADP, and many other accounting systems.

 

 

Can we install TimeLedger on our own servers?
