Budget Hawk
TimeLedger’s Budget Hawk assists managers in keeping a close watch on project time and expense budgets. You can setup unlimited Budget Alerts for any project which – as each alert level is reached -- are automatically sent to any number of email addresses and/or cell phones (via SMS text). Alerts can be set separately for labor and/or expense budgets for a project – or for a single combined budget covering both labor and expenses. Alerts can be set as percentages or absolute monetary amounts – at any level – even past 100% of budget.
Emailed Time Entries
You can quickly email a time entry into TimeLedger, from any email system, without logging into TimeLedger. This allows you to make quick time entries while working in your email system and from smartphones like the BlackBerry and the iPhone. TimeLedger assigns each user a unique email address just for this purpose. Emailed entries can include any part of a project name -- TimeLedger will intelligently lookup likely matches -- and present you with those matches -- once you log back into TimeLedger. Emailed entries are displayed in a list you can review, edit and save to be included with your existing entries.
